Mac Taylor, 22, Aspen, CO, USA
Mac is a ray of sunshine. Mac grew up in the mountains of Aspen before she joined the Stanford class of ’20. Mac is double majoring in Political Science and Art History and is part of the honors program Ethics in Society (EIS). She is currently working on her thesis, in which she is investigating the ethics of judicial decision making and algorithmic bias in the American courtroom. On campus, she is a Hume Humanities Honors Fellow, a founding member and President of the Professional Art Society of Stanford, a research assistant for ArtsWest at the Bill Lane Center for the American West, and the Residential Associate of the cultural themed house on campus, La Maison Francaise. During her past summers in NYC, she has gained a diverse range of experiences from working at the Park Avenue Armory, MoMA, and Bloomberg Philanthropies. She also runs about 10 miles every so often and has ran in several half and one full marathon so far, with more to come. Accomplishments aside, she is one of the most kind, compassionate, elegant, bright, and fun people I know. Can’t wait to see her take over the worlds of art and politics!
Paola Martinez, 22, Monterrey, Mexico
Pao is the true definition of pureness. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, she is now a senior a Stanford majoring in Computer Science with a Human-Computer Interaction concentration. In June, she will not only be graduating with a Bachelor’s in Science, but also with a Master’s—in Management Science & Engineering—all in four years. Pao was on the executive board of SENSA (Stanford Social Entrepreneurial Students Association), and she is currently the president of ILBA (International Latin Business Association) and a fellow in the prestigious Mayfield Fellows Program. Pao is also an alum of the renowned d.school class Design for Extreme Affordability, and has spent her last few summers between India, Africa, and the Bay Area. Accomplishments aside, Paolita is one of the warmest, happiest, brightest, and bubbliest people I know. She is truly beautiful inside and out and she spreads light wherever she goes. Blessed to have her in my life and can’t wait for her to have a massive impact on the world and make it for the better!
Antigone Xenopoulos, 22, NYC, NY, USA
Antigone is the definition of a badass. Antigone grew up in NYC and is a third generation Greek American. She is part of the class of Stanford 20’ and double majoring in Symbolic Systems and Economics. She is also part of CISAC honors program, currently working on her thesis, investigating the U.S.’ economic dependence on China for dual-use technologies. This past summer she worked at KKR on the Special Situations team and will be returning as an analyst in the fall. On campus she has been involved with the Stanford Review as an Executive Editor, and helped developed the computer science course CS 182: Ethics, Public Policy, and Technological Change. Accomplishments aside, she is one of the most eloquent, intellectual, stylish, and hilarious people I know. She is a true star! Can’t wait for her to take over the PE world and kick some Wall Street butt!
Victoria Toli, 21, Athens, Greece
Victoria is a true Greek goddess. Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Victoria is part of the Stanford Class of ‘20, majoring in Symbolic Systems with an Artificial Intelligence Concentration, excelling in some of the hardest Computer Science classes offered at Stanford. She is on the Executive Board of Stanford Women in Business and this past summer she interned at a renowned Private Equity firm. But accomplishments aside, she is one of the most loyal, hard-working, fun, and gorgeous woman I know. She is a true badass! She inspires me every day and I am lucky to have her in my life. Can’t wait to see her take over the world from the front seat!
